FLAMING LIPS - Heady Nuggs 20 Years After Clouds Taste Metallic 1994-1997 [3CD Box Set] - Warner Bros
Clouds Taste Metallic, the band's seventh album, is considered one of The Flaming Lips' best and earned them much critical fanfare. Released on September 19th, 1995, Clouds Taste Metallic is also the last Lips album to feature guitarist Ronald Jones. CIRCLES AROUND THE SUN - Interludes For The Dead - Rhino
Those lucky enough to score a "miracle" ticket to the Fare Thee Well concerts this summer were treated to some potent psychedelic jams during the shows' intermissions. The mysterious group behind those freewheeling tunes was Circles Around The Sun, a band convened by guitarist Neal Casal specifically for the project. The songs were composed and recorded during a two-day jam session. The results were so captivating, and the audience response so overwhelmingly positive, Rhino decided to give the music a proper release as a 2CD apart from the complete versions of Fare Thee Well.

Reel To Real captures Arthur Lee and Love at the peak of their rock/funk/soul powers. Originally released in 1974 on RSO Records, this beautifully packaged, deluxe reissue features vibrant, remastered audio from the original tapes, a 28-page, 9x12-inch LP booklet with an illuminating essay by Rolling Stone s David Fricke, and a trove of candid, unpublished photos.
