On Sale Now!

Lord Huron's second full-length album, Strange Trails, was recorded in 2014 at Whispering Pines Studios in Los Angeles after extensive touring in support of the band's folk-flavored indie rock debut, Lonesome Dreams. Two songs, the uptempo "Fool for Love" and the wistful ballad "The Night We Met," were released in anticipation of the 14-track album, which is due in the spring of 2015.

Kindred, is the new album from Passion Pit. Kindred was written by Passion Pit creative force and frontman Michael Angelakos and recorded in New York City. The album was produced by Angelakos alongside longtime collaborators and co-producers Chris Zane and Alex Aldi, as well as Benny Blanco. Kindred follows Passion Pit's 2012 hit Gossamer, which found the band selling out Madison Square Garden, appearing on "Saturday Night Live" and a special "Live on Letterman" performance, and playing at major festivals including Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, Outside Lands and more.

Singer-songwriters Deb Talan & Steve Tannen began writing together the night they met, and soon formed indie band The Weepies. They married and had three children, rarely touring but continuing to release their music, five records over seven years. CALEXICO - Edge Of The Sun - Anti
Calexico's follow-up to 2012's acclaimed Algiers, Edge of the Sun began with a songwriting retreat to the historic Mexico City borough of Coyoacán. Working for the first time with Mexican collaborators, Calexico expanded their horizons as the guest list grew to include musicians from a myriad of backgrounds, origins, and genres, including Sam Beam from Iron and Wine, Ben Bridwell from Band of Horses, Nick Urata from Devotchka, Carla Morrison, Gaby Moreno, Amparo Sanchez, multi-instrumentalists from the Greek band Takim, as well as Neko Case.


EARL SWEATSHIRT - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside: An Album By Earl Sweatshirt - Sony
The second full-length studio release for the Los Angeles rapper Earl Sweatshirt features guest appearances from Dash, Na'kel, Vince Staples, and Wiki.

THE WOMBATS - Glitterbug - Bright Antenna
The Wombats follow up 2011’s This Modern Glitch with their third full-length, Glitterbug. The first song off of the album, “Greek Tragedy,” hit #2 on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart less than two weeks after release. The band’s 2011 album, This Modern Glitch, hit Top 5 on the UK charts and spawned US hits “Jump Into the Fog,” “1996,” and “Techno Fan.” Matthew Murphy, Dan Haggis, and Tord Øverland Knudsen are the threesome behind The Wombats.  

MIGHTY OAKS - Howl - Astralwerks
Three young men, from three countries, combining three part harmonies, resulting in one unique sound. The Berlin based indie-folk band comprised of Ian Hooper (US), Claudio Donzelli (Italy), and Craig Saunders (UK) writes honest, authentic and emotionally driven songs acoustic guitars and mandolins at the centre of their sound, layers of electric guitars creating space and depth, rounded off through solid bass lines and the heartbeat of a simple drum. The music sets the perfect scene for the lyrics, which often draw their inspiration from the Pacific Northwest, the birthplace of Hooper. Set amidst these wonderful landscapes come tales of love, loss and the beauty of all that surrounds.

The list of titles being released ONLY AT RECORD STORES is only a click away, in TWO versions: A handy PDF that you can use as a shopping/wish list and a Pull Down menu with more detail and artwork.  These are the pieces that will be released at REAL LIVE RECORD STORES on April 18.  Keep in mind that things change OFTEN in this business, and we’ll be making changes to the list when that happens. Fixes, tweaks, new descriptions, additions and cancellations as they happen. Life is a work in progress, there’s a poster out there with a kitten in an adorable but precarious situation that says so. And so is our list.
